  • Is Curled a franchise?
YES Darlene and Craig Finck started Curled in September 2016 initially operating from a marquee in local markets. After several years of heavy lifting Curled developed their first trailer. Darlene and Craig currently operate two trailers in the Darwin region. Curled started developing a franchise package in 2017 firstly setting down policy's and procedures. 2018 saw the commencement of the six part training package. In 2019 we started work on the franchise agreement and related documentation. 2020 and 2021 saw just trying to stay alive with the covid pandemic, in this time we managed to continue trading most of the time with some of our highest and lowest turnovers ever. Curled even operated home delivery during the height of the pandemic when all was locked down. At the start of 2022 Curled received assistance from the NT Government to ratify all our franchise documentation. Curled worked with Advantage Partners Lawyers through 2022 and registered as a franchise with the ACCC in November 2022. Since then Curled has been Constructing two trailers for potential franchisees. The first of the two trailers should be complete by the end of May 2023 with the second not far behind. Curled aims to be working with two franchisees by the end of 2023. For more information go to
